Job Description

Purpose of Role: 

A key member of the ITW FEG N.A. Cooking Chain Business Unit, the Sales Director is responsible for year over year above market rate, organic revenue growth with Chain Customers and key foodservice Dealers.. The position is expected to deliver the annual sales and profit plan for the Vulcan Griddles & Char-broilers and Fryers business located in Charlotte, North Carolina.

 

Principal Accountabilities:

  Accountable for Delivering Sales Revenue Targets, segment & customer                           development, and share growth goals for the Vulcan GBF Business Unit  

  Collaborative Customer Planning in partnership with the Vulcan and Hobart sales            teams to map the plan for delivering Vulcan GBF Business Unit goals.

  Leading, Mentoring & Coaching the Vulcan GBF Business Development Team. 

 Engage in Developing the Vulcan GBF Business Unit planning process that supports the   strategy and enables the Long- Range Plan strategies.

Industry engagement and Vulcan GBF Business Unit representative.

Identify issues and opportunities to facilitate achievement of plan.

Collaborate across business functions within a matrix organization structure to gain alignment, resource allocation and buy-in for business development direction.

Engage with other Business Units and the Global FEG customer development community to collaborate on business direction and customer development plans.

Works collaboratively with the Operations, Marketing, and other key Business Unit functions to determine business priorities, annual revenue targets & customer objectives and business planning.

Qualifications

Key Experiences:

  •     Food Equipment Industry expertise and demonstrated leadership in the              Foodservice Channel.
  •     Chain segment expertise and Key customer contacts.
  •     10+ years experience in Food Equipment Sales and/or Marketing.
  •     Management experience within a matrix organization.
  •     Demonstrated success in leading through indirect teams

Desired Education:

  •  Four year college degree or equivalent experience, MBA preferred

  •   Job location and travel requirements
  •   This position will be based out of the Vulcan facility in Charlotte, NC.
  •   Remote location will be considered for the right candidate.
