Job Description

We are looking for a high-performing Wheat Sales Expert to join our team and help us meet our customer acquisition and revenue growth targets. A proven capability to identify and develop new opportunities and buyers for bulk wheat in thousands of tons is a key consideration for this role. As a Wheat Sales Expert at Trading Partner, you will be responsible for increasing the revenue of the company by expanding our sales activities to new local markets and clients.

Responsibilities

  • Sell wheat grain in bulk to wholesalers and importing off-takers in bulk.
  • Identify potential buyers and markets for bulk wheat, and develop effective sales strategies for these new clients.
  • Build credibility and trust with new and existing clients, and maintain a positive relationship with them.
  • Manage organizational sales by developing a business plan that covers sales, revenue, and expense controls.
  • Develop and negotiate contracts with clients, ensuring that all agreements are mutually beneficial.
  • Design and implement a strategic business plan that expands the company’s customer base and ensures a strong market presence.
  • Meet planned sales goals and setting individual sales targets
  • Present sales, revenue, and expenses reports and realistic forecasts to the management
  • Coordinate with the team to ensure that all necessary documentation, transport, and delivery arrangements are made for successful wheat shipment.
  • Monitor market trends, competitive activity, and industry developments to stay up-to-date with emerging opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of international trade regulations and best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Agricultural Economics, Marketing, or any related field.
  • At least 10 to 20 years of experience in wheat sales, with a significant track record of identifying and generating sales revenue.
  • Have experience working with Flour Mills.
  • Proven track record of meeting planned sales quotas.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Strong business sense and industry expertise
  • Excellent leadership skills
  • Results-oriented with strong analytical skills
  • Deep understanding of CRM systems and best practices
