Responsibilities

• Responsible for the day to day operations of pre-production Cloud Application (Ensuring system availability, performance, capacity, and monitoring through proper response to incidents, events and problems)
• Develop procedures to automate various systems and tasks (e.g. automating code builds and deployments)
• Execute system administration of hosting platforms capable of running on a variety of frameworks
• Promotion of new DevOps tools to simplify build process
• Employ innovative solutions to ease developer and testing experience.
• Engineer automation and deployment tools for every part of our platforms
• Engage cool vendors to identify and test products and technologies to help drive innovation into our infrastructure.
• Be an infrastructure engineer and in true agile style -- scrum your way to deliver solutions in well-defined sprints with clear success criteria
• This can include provision of cloud instances, turning on vps servers, streamlining deployments, configuring virtual instances, scaling out db servers.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or any related course
• At least 3 years of experience working as DevOps
• Can develop scripts to automate our procedures and monitor our servers
• Knowledgeable in Ruby, Rails, AWS stack, Big Data or HDP, Chef, bash scripting is a HUGE PLUS
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to communicate technical issues to nontechnical and technical audiences.
• Self-motivated learner and builder with strong customer focus and obsession with quality
• Open for Permanent / Fulltime role
• Willing to work in Ortigas on a regular day shift schedule
