Job Description
- Management of infrastructure, network, equipment, and facilities
- Update and maintenance of LDAP and other corporate applications
- Plans internal and external process improvements for continued service excellence
- Manages all internet equipment peripherals, and ensures that these equipments are properly maintained, updated, and in good running condition at all times
- Liaises with internet service provider should there be any issues
- Develop a back-up/disaster recovery plan for a network emergency
- Manages, fulfills, and/or escalates IT Helpdesk tickets
- Provides troubleshooting for servers, network devices, and firewall configurations
- Provide basic PC troubleshooting and software installation for end-users
- Notifies end users of outage and/or maintenance schedule
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Science/Technology or any related course.
- 2-3 years of experience in network and system management and administration. MSCE and Cisco Certification desired.
- Strong knowledge of network operating systems (Microsoft NT/2003/Server) and data communication protocols and technologies
- Experience in MS Active Directory, PFSense, Cacti, MRTG, LDAP, TeamViewer, VNC, etc.
- Knowledge in Linux/Unix and Shell Scripting
- Organized, systematic, and able to work autonomously
- Good and functional level of English.
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Strong time management skills – ability to prioritize and meet deadlines
- Strong work ethic – must be self-motivated and able to take the initiative to get the job done
- Ability to function in a global team environment
