Job Description

The successful candidate will work closely with project managers and technical consultants in all phases of planning, development and testing and will be responsible for documenting project progress for senior management.

The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal communication skills, technical expertise in the area of Learning Management Systems, as well as a thorough knowledge of e-learning systems and experience with online course development.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Learning Management System administration and development coordination
  • Coordinate system and content development
  • Communicate technical limitations and requirements to instructional design teams
  • Communicate instructional design requirements and goals to technical consultants
  • Support and contribute to system and content design
  • Collaborate with technology staff
  • Work closely with senior leadership to develop business technology plan, including network security/technology policies, and establish hardware/ software roadmap

Qualifications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred, in a related field
  • Three (3) years of progressively responsible experience as an IT professional
  • Significant experience in online learning and digital course development
  • OR, Any equivalent combination of education and/or experience which demonstrate comparable knowledge, skills and abilities from which comparable knowledge, skills and abilities have been achieved

Required Skills:

  • Learning management system administration and coordination, e.g., Moodle SCORM/AICC or any eLearning Platform
  • Multimedia development and formats
  • Familiarity or Working knowledge of web technologies and development
    • PHP/MySQL
    • HTML/CSS
    • AJAX
  • Excellent communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Flexibility and adaptability
