We are looking for an energetic, self-starting, organized, detail-oriented candidate with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment to join our team.

ISN is looking for a part-time Senior Accountant (up to 25 hours per week) to join our accounting team to be the main point of contact to our subcontractors.  We are looking for an energetic, self-starting, organized, detail-oriented candidate with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

The Senior Accountant handles communication with our subcontractors on a specific project.

The Senior Accountant compares data in the customer invoice with data in the subcontractor’s using MS access/SQL to make sure the subcontractor is only paid once ISN has been paid by the customer, “Pay-When-Paid”.

This position reports to Controller.

Primary Responsibilities:

• Reviews subcontractors’ invoices to endure all required information are reported
• Ensures invoices are accurate
• Verifies pricing on subcontractors’ invoices with a pricing worksheet
• Compares data in the customer invoice with data in the subcontractor’ s to make sure the subcontractor is only paid when ISN has been paid by the customer, “pay-When-Paid”.
• Backup for regular AP entries, check-printing, and postings
• Performs special projects and provide support to the accounting team as needed

Qualifications:

• This position requires at a minimum an associate degree in accounting. 
• A minimum of 3 years of experience in government contracting field
• Recent Experience working with Deltek CostPoint is preferred, but not required. 
• Advance Excel Skills is a must
• Ability to perform and work as part of a team
• High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
