Job Description

ISN is seeking a Senior Project/Revenue Accountant to join our accounting team.  The Senior Accountant is primarily responsible for overseeing the financial aspects and billing of an IDIQ $300M contract as it progresses.

The Senior Accountant works closely with upper-level management and provides meaningful insight and accurate analysis to management for decision-making purposes.

The Senior Accountant will track this IDIQ project from beginning to end and will also maintain the company programs budget in Costpoint Planning module.

Our new IDIQ contract has complexity for billing.  The ideal candidate will have at least five years hands-on billing in CostPoint. Well-versed in setting up T&M and FP project codes in CostPoint at CLIN level to capture SLINs for billings. Further, they will be the Subject Matter Expert (SME) on setting up complex project cods in CostPoint Deltek.

Additional accounting duties will also be assigned. These duties will include (but not be limited to) coordination with business fillings to register ISN Corp and file annual reports with each state as needed.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Manage and process monthly billings ensuring accuracy and timeliness of assigned projects and submit to customer.
  • Set up new contracts and add modifications in CostPoint as needed.
  • Work with the contracts team and Delivery Program VPs to review accounting-related issues with customer.
  • Will be responsible for project planning and scheduling, cost estimating and monitoring, progress measurement, risk management, and reporting.
  • Maintain project-related records.
  • Close out project accounts upon project completion.
  • Maintain company programs budget in CostPoint planning module.
  • Coordinate business fillings on registration of ISN Corp with new states and filling annual report with the appropriate states.
  • Any other accounting and financial duties as required.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Well versed with setting up T&M and FP project codes in CostPoint at CLIN level to capture SLINs for billings.
  • Hands on experience in billings consisting of CLINs and SLINs in CostPoint.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness.
  • Advance Excel Skills.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical skills.
  • The ability to learn and interact with other professionals.
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Solid understanding of accounting processes and procedures and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

Qualifications

  • This position requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from an accredited institution.
  • A minimum of 5 years recent Experience working with CostPoint 7.0. or higher.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in government contracting field.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Active clearance or eligibility for security clearance.
