Job Description

Vendor Technicians will be responsible for assisting the Vendor Manager with regards to single family homes (1-4 units) Real Estate Owned (REO) and custodial properties.  Vendor Technicians must ensure that vendors are qualified and able to conduct and submit inspections and other property-related work on time, to client specifications, and efficiently.  Vendor Technician's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
·         Close interaction with Vendor Manager to ensure highest quality vendors are being selected for work assignment, based on previous work quality, and vendor scorecards.
·         Perform data analysis of vendors work product to develop vendor scorecards                ·         Work closely with the Vendor Manager to ensure all vendor reporting meets client expectations and on-time delivery.
·         APM's to determine if task order for services should be requested based on findings in inspections.
·         Interact with vendors with regards to local law enforcement communication, HOA and city/county code compliance personnel.
·         Recruit new property inspectors, property preservation, appraisal, title, environmental companies, real estate agents, etc. as needed in their respective geographic areas to accomplish required services.
·         Interact with Vendor Manager to ensure overall cost efficiency of vendor pricing, but not at the expense of the property.
·         Vette vendor bids for necessary repairs and services to properties to ensure job will be done properly to client specs at a fair price.
·         Coordinate on behalf of the vendor with our accounting department to ensure vendor invoicing is processed in a timely manner
·         Ensure all properties have the vendors required for surge, seasonal services, or weather disasters.

Experience:

   ·          Excellent communication skills, including excellent phone etiquette and a demonstrated ability to communicate professionally in verbal and written forms and instant messaging environment with teammates.
·         Above average computer skills working in proprietary software environment                  ·         Ability to meet hard deadlines and work in fast-paced environment.                                ·         Keen as to where and how to locate small vendors for rural properties.     

Qualifications

Must pass pre-employment screening and undergo government suitability investigation.         

3+ years of vendor management / recruitment experience in a similar work environment (government contractor) or real estate industry.
