We’re seeking reliable, hard-working, and motivated Delivery Drivers to join one of our logistics service providers. This is a Delivery Driver role where you’ll spend the majority of your day out on the road - so a passion for driving is a plus! Predefined routes and presorted packages are provided. So, once you've conducted your safety checks and loaded up, you can simply head off and drive. 

We are seeking a motivated and efficient DNG2 - Driver Express // Delivery Driver to join our team in Derby, United Kingdom. As a key member of our delivery operations, you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate package deliveries while providing excellent customer service.

• Load and organize packages in delivery vehicles for efficient distribution
• Safely operate a delivery van, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols
• Navigate routes using GPS technology and local knowledge to optimize delivery efficiency
• Deliver packages to residential and commercial addresses, including carrying items up stairs when necessary
• Interact professionally with customers, addressing any concerns and maintaining a positive attitude
• Utilize electronic devices for route guidance, package tracking, and delivery confirmation
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, mileage, and any issues encountered during shifts
• Conduct basic vehicle inspections and report any maintenance needs promptly
• Adapt to changing weather conditions and delivery volumes to meet daily targets
• Collaborate with dispatch and customer service teams to resolve any delivery-related issues

• Must be self-employed and able to manage independent contractor responsibilities
• Full and valid UK or EU Manual Driving License with a maximum of 6 points (NO active IN, DR, or TT codes)
• Excellent driving record and adherence to road safety regulations
• Physical ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 23 kg (50 lbs)
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
• Proficient communication skills in English
• Customer service-oriented with a professional and friendly demeanor
• Familiarity with Derby and surrounding areas, including local roads and traffic patterns
• Basic smartphone proficiency for using delivery apps and GPS navigation
• Demonstrated time management and organizational skills
• Flexibility to work various shifts and adapt to changing delivery schedules
• Ability to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to commute to and from the designated station where delivery vehicles are stored
• Age requirement: Must meet minimum age requirement (to be specified by the company)
