Job Description

If you're rigorous and passionate about software testing and R&D processes, then join the quality assurance group in ISAAC’s R&D team. As a quality assurance analyst, you will participate in the improvement of quality and maintenance of ISAAC’s  telemetry software. Your main responsibilities include implementing and applying efficient testing methods—both manual and automated— to ensure that all products meet the established quality standards. You will also be responsible for analyzing various change requests.

Applications to be maintained:

  • Data analysis application
  • Real-time communication application with recorders for vehicle tracking
  • Distributed client/server fleet management application
  • SOA type application using .NET platform

Responsibilities

  • Actively participate in defining user stories by providing relevant information, estimating times and identifying risks
  • Develop, maintain and execute manual and automated test procedures for API and other test cases
  • Validate new functionality and enhancements to existing ones
  • Ensure visibility of testing progress throughout the development process
  • Collaborate to identify, document and resolve issues related to software functionality and performance.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or software engineering, or any other training combined with relevant working experience
  • 1 to 3 years’ experience in quality assurance, in a software development or high-tech company, or relevant working experience
  • Knowledge of API testing and automation
  • Knowledge of tools such as Postman, Jmeter, Artillery
  • Excellent knowledge of the Windows environment
  • Knowledge of SQL server
  • Investigative mind and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work in a team setting
  • Strong communication& organizational skills
  • Attention to detail.

Assets

  • Knowledge of Selenium and Appium automation tools
  • Knowledge of .NET Framework 4.0+ and of C# language
