Job Description

Do you want to take on new challenges? We are looking for an enthusiastic technical trainer with instructional design experience to provide tailored training on ISAAC products and technological solutions, both internally and externally. 

Responsibilities

  • Design learning objectives for training courses/learning activities, develops content to meet learning objectives, and identifies appropriate delivery mechanisms. The position develops trainer and participant materials, including interactive e-learning and classroom modules
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts, project leads, change specialists, to design, develop, implement, evaluate and revise curriculum and learning resources that are aligned with ISAAC goals, and are aimed at delivering knowledge to both internal and external end users
  • Completes development of learning resources for both print and digital use, including the development of learning experiences in our LMS
  • Implement end-to-end training activities supporting functions including planning, instructional design, development, measurement, and coordination across teams
  • Collaborate with Functional Change Specialists, and Functional Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to conduct training needs analysis and define training needs in stakeholder groups
  • Support training development within the function and work with the training team to support training delivery

Qualifications

  •  A minimum of 2 years of experience in designing training, both in a classroom setting and virtual environment
  • Excellent communicator with a customer approach based on respect and attention to detail
  • Ability to synthesize technical concepts to make them easily understandable
  • Ability to adapt easily, strong presentation and organization skills
  • Flexibility to deliver training on evening & weekends workshops if needed
  • Fluently bilingual (English and French) verbal and written
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills, with a passion for continuous learning
  • Experience in new technology, transportation and fleet management, electronics and / or telemetry
  • Knowledge of functional business processes in Asset and Work Management
  • Comprehensive knowledge of current adult learning theories, ADDIE principles, program design strategies, technologies, trends, and best practices applicable to both online and instructor-led learning programs
  • Experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS); familiarity with virtual classroom and with multimedia and web design technologies
  • Designing and writing course materials, activities and exercises, assessments, job aids
  • Team player and able to work collaboratively with Training Leads, Functional Change Management Specialists, Training Logistics Coordinator and other Learning Advisors.

  • Knowledge of SalesForce.com (CRM) and myTrailhead (LMS)
  • Knowledge of functional business processes in Asset and Work Management
