Job Description

We are looking for an ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help us expand our client base. Your goal will be to drive sustainable financial growth by boosting sales and forging strong relationships with clients. As a member of our Sales team, you will be responsible for prospecting new clients and presenting ISAAC’s solution along with its benefits. Together with the Solution specialist, you will prepare full proposals including objectives, a high-level deployment plan and a quotation.

The Business Development Manager is based in Alberta.

Your responsibilities

  • Taking part in the implementation of the commercial strategy put forward by the management team

  • Meeting sales objectives

  • Developing a territory plan

  • Researching and identifying new business opportunities and potential clients

  • Generating new contacts and potential clients by phone, Internet and other means

  • Contacting and meeting with potential clients

  • Sending documentation, answering requests for information and preparing quotations

  • Closing direct sales transactions to meet sales objectives

  • Documenting and integrating commercial data in the CRM system using established procedures, while providing the organization with timely market feedback

  • Providing precise sales forecasting reports

  • Following up on prospects and existing clients

  • Representing the full range of ISAAC solutions

  • Attending and participating in the organization of trade shows and other events

  • Accomplishing other mandates given by the Sales Director

  • Coordinating bids and contract-related information with the Purchasing and Orders departments.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience in the sale of IT products

  • Business acumen

  • Experience in strategic selling and key account management

  • Undergraduate degree

  • Strategic mind

  • Good negotiation and communication skills, with excellent knowledge of English (spoken & written)

  • Focused and well-organized, self-starter, autonomous, dynamic

  • Willing to travel regularly

  • Valid driver’s license & passport

  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office suite
