Job Description
This Role
Provides senior-level fund accounting expertise and team leadership for private equity and corporate clients, ensuring the accurate review and delivery of financial reporting, NAV calculations, investor reporting, compliance requirements, and client service excellence while supporting team development, operational efficiency, and stakeholder management.
What You Wil Do
- You'll oversee the review and preparation of NAV calculations, financial statements, management accounts, working papers, investor reporting, journal entries, capital call and distribution activities, and other complex fund accounting deliverables, ensuring accuracy, quality, and timely delivery for private equity and corporate clients.
- You'll manage client deliverables and team workflows by coordinating deadlines, assigning workloads, reviewing outputs from Accountants and Junior Accountants, resolving complex accounting matters, responding to client and investor queries, and supporting fund onboarding and migration activities, including Investran and Paxus implementations.
- You'll provide leadership, coaching, and technical guidance to team members by reviewing deliverables, delivering constructive feedback, supporting performance development, overseeing timesheet and workflow management, and acting as a key escalation point for operational and client-related issues.
- You'll ensure compliance with accounting standards, SSAE requirements, internal controls, and regulatory obligations by monitoring risks, investigating errors, preparing compliance and incident reports, implementing corrective actions, and promoting best practices across fund accounting operations.
- You'll build strong relationships with clients, stakeholders, and internal teams through effective communication, collaboration, customer focus, and continuous improvement while supporting management activities, operational excellence, and the achievement of business objectives.

Qualifications
About You
- You hold a degree in Accounting, Finance, or another business-related discipline and have at least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, including a minimum of 1 year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
- You possess strong knowledge of IndAS, IFRS, and GAAP across multiple jurisdictions, with experience preparing and reviewing financial statements, disclosures, working papers, NAV calculations, and other fund accounting deliverables in accordance with applicable regulations and accounting standards.
- You have experience managing client deliverables, service operations, staff performance, and stakeholder relationships, with sound operational fund accounting experience, preferably within private equity environments.
- You have hands-on experience preparing and reviewing working paper files, financial statements with disclosures, and other financial information, with the ability to manage complex accounting and reporting requirements.
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, including pivot tables, lookups, IF functions, and related analytical tools, with experience using accounting platforms such as Investran being highly desirable; additional language skills and advanced communication abilities are advantageous.
