Job Description

THIS ROLE

is responsible for driving operational excellence and team performance within the corporate accounting department. This role manages a team of accounting professionals, oversees complex client relationships, and ensures delivery of high-quality accounting services. The position focuses on people management, strategic planning, and operational efficiency while maintaining overall accountability for team performance and stakeholder satisfaction.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You'll lead team performance, set measurable goals and KPIs, and provide regular feedback to drive high-quality service delivery and continuous improvement.
  • You'll drive operational excellence by optimizing team capacity, resource allocation, process standardization, and quality assurance to meet service standards and SLAs.
  • You'll ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, client agreements, SOWs, and quality requirements across all team operations.
  • You'll build and maintain strong relationships with clusters, stakeholders, and clients while serving as the primary escalation point for complex issues and conflict resolution.
  • You'll develop team capabilities by providing coaching, technical and non-technical guidance, onboarding support, training opportunities, and professional development plans.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

  • You have a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, with a CPA or equivalent certification preferred.
  • You bring at least 6 years of progressive experience in corporate accounting, financial reporting, team leadership, and service delivery management.
  • You demonstrate expertise in operational excellence, including KPI management, resource planning, capacity optimization, quality assurance, and process standardization.
  • You build and maintain strong stakeholder and client relationships, effectively manage escalations, and align team objectives with organizational goals.
  • You possess strong leadership, communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams.
