Job Description

THIS ROLE

This role, senior Finance Administrator, you'll be responsible for verifying vendor documentation and disbursement requests, addressing both vendor and internal stakeholder inquiries, and preparing payment runs through online banking platforms. You'll record and manage supplier invoices and related bank transactions, ensure the accurate recording of financial data in company systems, and perform regular bank and account reconciliations. In addition, you'll monitor daily cash balances and prepare reports for finance leadership, support external audit requirements by preparing necessary documents and schedules, and assist the Finance team with various ad hoc tasks as needed.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You'll have a bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field, with an interest in banking and financial operations.
  • You'll bring up to 1 year of experience in payment processing, banking, administrative support, or a similar environment.
  • You'll demonstrate accuracy and attention to detail when processing transactions, maintaining data, and completing time reporting.
  • You'll effectively use banking and payment platforms while following established procedures and escalating complex issues when appropriate.
  • You'll communicate clearly, stay organized, maintain a customer-focused approach, and show a willingness to learn new systems and processes.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

 

  • You hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Accountancy, Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, or a related field.
  • You have at least 3 years of experience in a similar role and consistently maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive information.
  • You demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills when collaborating with stakeholders and team members.
  • You possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines effectively.
  • You are proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, and can work both independently and as part of a broader team.
