Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Fund Accounting professional to deliver high-quality accounting, NAV, financial reporting, and client service support for private equity funds and corporate clients. In this role, you will oversee complex fund accounting processes, review financial statements and investor reporting, and ensure timely delivery of client commitments. You will act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance to team members while maintaining compliance with regulatory, client, and internal requirements. The position requires strong expertise in private equity fund accounting, financial reporting, stakeholder management, and team leadership. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented professional to drive operational excellence and enhance client service delivery.
What You'll Do
- You’ll review and oversee NAV reporting, financial statements, investor reporting, capital call and distribution notices, and other client deliverables for private equity funds and corporate clients.
- You’ll coordinate client deadlines, manage team workloads, review deliverables prepared by Accountants and Junior Accountants, and ensure all outputs meet quality and timeliness standards.
- You’ll serve as a subject matter expert for assigned clients, resolve complex accounting matters, liaise with auditors and stakeholders, and provide technical guidance to team members.
- You’ll support fund onboarding, accounting platform migrations, regulatory compliance, risk management activities, and adherence to SSAE and internal control requirements.
- You’ll mentor team members, drive process improvements, monitor workflow management activities, and contribute to enhancing operational efficiency and client satisfaction.

Qualifications
- You hold a Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business discipline with 4+ years of relevant accounting experience, including at least 1 year of supervisory experience.
- You demonstrate strong knowledge of Ind AS, IFRS, and multiple GAAP frameworks, including US GAAP, UK GAAP, and Luxembourg reporting requirements.
- You bring hands-on experience in private equity fund accounting, NAV reporting, financial statement preparation and review, investor reporting, and working paper reviews.
- You possess advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and have experience using accounting platforms such as Investran or similar fund accounting systems.
- You have strong leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage teams, client relationships, and complex deliverables effectively.
