Job Description

THIS ROLE

The Senior Analyst is responsible for reviewing and delivering regulatory reporting outputs for complex clients and scenarios, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely completion. The role serves as a key client-facing contact for reporting matters, responding to queries, participating in client interactions, and coordinating with onshore stakeholders and support teams to deliver a consistent client experience. In addition, the Senior Analyst provides day-to-day guidance and support to Analysts, oversees quality reviews and stakeholder communication, and escalates broader methodological, framework, or operational design matters to the Regulatory Reporting Specialist and Manager as appropriate.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • You'll review and complete regulatory reporting deliverables for allocated clients, performing detailed analysis, reconciliations, and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and audit readiness.
  • You'll serve as a key client contact, participating in discussions, resolving queries, and coordinating with internal teams, onshore colleagues, and third parties to gather information and address issues.
  • You'll monitor reporting deadlines, manage risks and escalations, and support remediation activities to ensure timely and compliant delivery.
  • You'll provide coaching, technical guidance, workpaper reviews, and training support to develop team capability and maintain high-quality standards.
  • You'll contribute to management reporting, trend analysis, process improvements, procedure updates, workflow enhancements, and additional projects aligned with business needs.

Qualifications

ABOUT YOU

 

  • You demonstrate strong expertise in regulatory reporting, controls, and quality review, applying sound judgment to identify issues, challenge outputs, and ensure accurate deliverables.
  • You communicate confidently with clients and stakeholders, managing reporting-related queries, maintaining professional relationships, and driving issues through to resolution.
  • You effectively manage competing priorities, multiple deadlines, and complex reporting requirements within a controlled and deadline-driven environment.
  • You support, coach, and develop junior colleagues while leveraging strong problem-solving and root cause analysis skills to address operational challenges.
  • You bring experience in regulatory reporting or financial services environments, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and a continuous improvement mindset focused on enhancing efficiency, controls, and service quality.
