Job Description
Provide outsourced CFO support to hedge funds and private equity clients, managing financial operations, reporting, and collaboration with auditors, administrators, and service providers. Deliver financial analysis, model creation, and process improvements while ensuring accurate accounting practices, investor reporting, and fund management oversight.
What you’ll do
- You’ll liaise with auditors, administrators, HR/payroll, and other service providers while delivering outsourced CFO services to Hedge Funds and Private Equity Funds.
- You’ll collaborate with team members and clients, providing daily operational support and participating in ad‑hoc projects, including financial modeling and analysis.
- You’ll review NAVs, allocations, investor statements, reconciliations, expense schedules, management fee calculations, and incentive allocations to ensure accuracy.
- You’ll prepare fund and management company financial statements, maintain accounting practices, research accounting principles, and advise clients on improvements.
- You’ll coordinate client onboarding tasks such as opening brokerage and bank accounts, while arranging and participating in regular conference calls to support engagement.

- The salary for this position will be dependent on experience and location ($70,000-$90,000).
Qualifications
- You hold a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, with CPA designation preferred.
- You bring 4+ years of experience in the alternative investment management industry, with public accounting experience considered a plus.
- You demonstrate excellent organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with strong attention to detail and the ability to multi‑task.
- You thrive in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments as a hard‑working, self‑starter who is dedicated, punctual, and personable.
- You possess strong accounting and analytical skills, problem‑solving ability, and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, with familiarity in QuickBooks, OpenAir, Bill.com, and Expensify as an advantage.
