Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant 3, Fund Accounting, to handle property accounting functions for real estate portfolios, including reviewing mortgage, lease commissions, real estate taxes, insurance, and prepaid schedules. The role involves booking rental income, performing CAM reconciliations, and ensuring accurate sales tax calculations, real estate e-tax filings, and insurance payments. The incumbent will independently manage core accounting activities such as AP/AR processing and support financial statement preparation while ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely reporting. This role operates on a US shift (6:30 PM onwards).
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review mortgage, lease commission, real estate tax, insurance, and prepaid schedules
- Perform sales tax calculations and process real estate e-tax and insurance payments
- Execute property accounting tasks including rental income booking and CAM reconciliations
- Handle AP/AR transactions and ensure completeness and accuracy of financial records
- Support preparation and initial review of monthly financial statements and reports

Qualifications
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or related field
- 4+ years of relevant experience in property or real estate accounting
- Solid knowledge of CAM reconciliation, rental income accounting, and general ledger processes
- Experience in AP/AR and financial reporting support with minimal supervision
- Willingness to work in US shift (6:30 PM onwards) with strong attention to detail
