ABOUT THE ROLE:
Job Summary
The role is responsible for delivering timely, accurate, and high-quality accounting, reporting, and administrative services to assigned private equity fund and corporate clients. The position focuses on building strong collaborative relationships with cluster teams and clients while planning and prioritizing work to meet agreed service levels. The role supports and performs the review and preparation of NAVs, financial statements, capital calls, distributions, and complex ad hoc deliverables, as well as fund onboarding and system conversions to platforms such as Investran and Paxus. It also plays a key role in quality control, risk and compliance adherence, stakeholder communication, and the ongoing development and performance oversight of Accountants and Junior Accountants.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and oversee the preparation of NAV calculations, financial statements, capital calls, distributions, investor notices, and complex ad hoc and client-specific reporting deliverables.
- Manage, review, and ensure the timely and accurate output of Accountants and Junior Accountants, providing clear feedback, guidance, and technical support.
- Act as a subject matter resource for assigned clients by understanding fund agreements, SOWs, SLAs, and reporting requirements, and serving as a key liaison with cluster teams and stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, procedures, checklists, and SSAE or similar regulatory requirements, including risk identification, error reporting, and remediation tracking.
- Support workflow, resource, and stakeholder management activities, including workload planning, issue escalation, system usage best practices, and participation in fund onboarding, conversions, and continuous process improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
ABOUT YOU:
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field with a minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in real estate or hedge fund accounting, including strong reviewing experience of NAVs, financial statements, reconciliations, investor reporting, and other complex fund deliverables; CA or equivalent professional qualification is a strong advantage.
- Systems & Technical Knowledge: Mandatory hands-on experience with Yardi or Paxus, at both preparer and reviewer level, with strong proficiency in fund accounting and financial reporting systems, advanced Excel and data analysis skills, and practical knowledge of SOX, internal controls, and compliance requirements.
- Industry & Technical Expertise: Demonstrated experience in real estate or hedge fund structures, including complex entity hierarchies, multi-currency transactions, partnership accounting, and investor allocations and reporting.
- Analytical & Review Skills: Proven ability to perform detailed technical reviews, resolve complex accounting issues, research and interpret accounting standards, manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines, and provide clear, well-supported recommendations with a high level of accuracy and judgment.
- Professional & Stakeholder Skills: Fluent in written and spoken English; highly professional, proactive, and detail-oriented; capable of mentoring Accountants and Junior Accountants, communicating effectively with internal stakeholders and clients, and adapting quickly to changing business and regulatory requirements.
