Job Description
What you will do:
The Manager, Corporate Administration is a senior professional responsible for overseeing complex accounting operations and serving as a subject matter expert within their domain. This role requires close collaboration with the Head of Delivery to ensure team excellence, compliance, and continuous improvement across all corporate administration functions.
- Ensure quality assurance and compliance by conducting in-depth reviews of all cluster deliverables, verifying accuracy against current methodologies, regulations, and software standards before release, whilst maintaining comprehensive audit trails and documentation.
- Lead team development and performance management by identifying training needs, creating tailored development plans, providing coaching and mentorship, and fostering an open communication culture that encourages professional growth and accountability.
- Manage complex accounting queries and escalations by providing expert guidance to clusters on sensitive matters, resolving issues promptly, and exercising professional judgment to escalate matters appropriately to the reporting line when required.
- Oversee task delivery and planning by taking complete ownership of assigned work, conducting detailed reviews to ensure timeliness and quality, proactively communicating any deviations from planned delivery, and providing support to management reporting requirements.
- Maintain operational resilience and information security by performing ad-hoc accounting and record-keeping functions during service disruptions, ensuring compliance with ISMS protocols, and demonstrating ownership of personal development to support evolving business needs.
Qualifications
Education / professional qualifications:
- You hold a degree or are a Qualified ACCA or ACA
Background experience:
- You have a minimum of 8 years' experience
- You have experience in a similar role (this would be an advantage)
Technical:
- You have experience in advanced corporate accounting, including financial statement preparation
- You possess knowledge of advanced accounting entries and accounting standards (IFRS and relevant GAAPS) (this would be preferred)
- You are competent at an advanced level in MS Office Word and Excel
- You have experience with Quickbooks, Jobstreams or Microgen Series (this would be an advantage)
Languages:
- You are fluent in English and French
