Job Description

You will be prospecting and developing new business leads in the alternative investment industry.  The most successful applicants will be those that already have extensive contacts in the alternative asset industry.  As part of the business development process you will be assisted by our technical experts and service delivery professionals.  This position offers a competitive base salary and commission structure that at target is in the six figures.  You will be facilitating the business development process by performing the following:

  • Developing a working knowledge of our service offerings
  • Attending industry events to develop leads
  • Making sales calls to your network in the alternative asset industry
  • Identify prospective customers
  • Qualify the level of opportunity and type of account
  • Forecast time frames to close business
  • Assist in preparing quotes and coordinate with marketing department on service agreements
  • Track customer satisfaction levels and assess additional revenue opportunities
  • Develop strategies to cross sell to our existing clients
  • Develop short term, mid-range and long term goals and track performance

Qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience in providing exceptional customer service
  • Extensive contacts in the alternative asset industry
  • Prior business development and sales experience
  • Prior success in leveraging your extensive contacts in exceeding sales goals
