As part of an international low-carbon energy development currently in the FEED phase, we are seeking a Lead Document Controller to ensure effective management and control of documentation exchanged between the project team and the main engineering contractors. The project combines renewable hydrogen production, CO2 conditioning and synthetic methane production. The project team is primarily based in France, with part of the organization located in the United States.

Job Description

- Project Document Management

  • Administer the project EDMS on a daily basis, including registration and integration of received documents, management of incoming and outgoing correspondence, and preparation and tracking of transmittals.
  • Define and launch document review workflows and maintain an accurate and up-to-date distribution matrix.
  • Monitor and expedite review and approval cycles to ensure compliance with project deadlines.

- Monitoring, Reporting and Continuous Improvement.

Qualifications

  • Proven Document Control experience on industrial, energy, Oil & Gas, EPC/EPCM or major engineering projects.
  • Previous experience coordinating or supervising a team of Document Controllers is highly desirable.
  • Good understanding of document lifecycles during FEED and of interfaces between Engineering, Project Controls and contractors.
  • Strong command of an industrial EDMS; experience with New PRODOM or an equivalent system is a significant advantage.
  • Ability to manage high document volumes, multiple simultaneous workflows and international stakeholders.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organization, autonomy and prioritization skills.
  • Strong communication, training and coordination capabilities.
  • Professional English is mandatory; professional French is required for the Paris working environment.
