Venus FPSO project: ultra-deepwater development designed to process 160,000 bbl/d of oil, with advanced gas reinjection and subsea infrastructure.

The successful candidate will work alongside the Electrical Lead Engineer, supporting the supervision and technical coordination of the Engineering Contractor and ensuring that electrical engineering, equipment, installation, construction and delivery activities comply with project requirements, specifications, procedures and applicable international standards.

Job Description

  • Review and approve contractor electrical engineering deliverables.
  • Review technical queries, deviations and propose appropriate solutions.
  • Ensure compliance with project specifications, procedures and international standards.
  • Coordinate electrical interfaces with other disciplines and FPSO packages.
  • Monitor engineering progress, quality and technical issues.
  • Participate in technical meetings, HAZOP and PTR reviews.
  • Support vendor inspections, testing and electrical witnessing activities.
  • Provide technical support during construction and offshore/FPSO activities.
  • Report key issues, deviations and risks to the Electrical Lead.
  • Support change orders, planning constraints and implementation of lessons learned.
  • Ensure compliance with HSE requirements.

Qualifications

  • Engineering degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years’ Oil & Gas experience.
  • Previous FPSO electrical design/engineering experience required.
  • Experience with engineering deliverable review and contractor coordination.
  • Good knowledge of electrical standards, specifications and offshore/FPSO requirements.
  • Strong communication and technical coordination skills.
  • Fluent in English and French.
  • Proactive, rigorous and able to work in an international/multicultural environment.
  • Willingness to undertake frequent FPSO/offshore missions.
  • Flexibility to work in France, Singapore and South Korea.
