Job Description
- Lead and coordinate Onshore QA/QC activities throughout the EPC lifecycle.
- Manage multidisciplinary QA/QC inspectors and supervisors.
- Monitor EPC Contractor and Subcontractor quality performance across engineering, procurement, fabrication and construction.
- Review and approve QA/QC plans, ITPs, procedures, methodologies and inspection documentation.
- Coordinate inspections with Contractors, Vendors, Third-Party Inspectors and certifying authorities.
- Supervise welding, NDT, coating, materials and equipment inspections.
- Manage NCRs, deviations, technical queries and corrective actions.
- Monitor quality KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
- Participate in audits, inspections, construction meetings and site quality visits.
- Ensure proper quality records, dossiers and handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Project requirements, TotalEnergies specifications, international standards and HSE requirements.
Qualifications
- Minimum 10 years’ Oil & Gas QA/QC experience, including 7 years in a similar lead role.
- Proven experience on large-scale international onshore EPC projects.
- Engineering degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Structural Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of API, ISO, ASME and IEC standards.
- Strong expertise in welding, NDT, coating, materials and equipment inspection.
- Experience managing multidisciplinary inspection teams and EPC Contractors/Subcontractors.
- Experience with ITPs, QA/QC plans, NCRs, audits and quality documentation.
- Knowledge of TotalEnergies General Specifications is an advantage.
- AWS, PCN/COFREND, CSWIP or equivalent certification is a plus.
- Strong leadership, communication and reporting skills.
- Fluent English is mandatory.
- Willingness to work in Beijing, China initially, followed by Baku, Azerbaijan.
