IOTA Group is looking for an experienced Maintenance Method Engineer - Rotating Equipment to support a leading international energy services company on the Ceyhan PDH-PP Project.

This is a fully remote assignment, supporting maintenance preparation and reliability activities for critical rotating equipment within a major petrochemical project.

Job Description

As a Maintenance Method Engineer - Rotating Equipment, you will be responsible for defining, optimizing and implementing maintenance strategies and methods for critical rotating equipment, including pumps, compressors, turbines and associated auxiliary systems.

Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Define and update maintenance methods, procedures and job plans for rotating equipment.
  • Prepare comprehensive work packs, including job steps, required resources, tools and spare parts.
  • Support maintenance teams during complex technical interventions.
  • Analyze equipment performance and recommend corrective or reliability improvement actions.
  • Lead or contribute to Root Cause Failure Analysis - RCFA following significant equipment failures.
  • Develop and monitor reliability indicators including MTBF, MTTR and equipment availability.
  • Implement and improve preventive, predictive and reliability-centered maintenance – RCM strategies.
  • Support predictive maintenance activities including vibration analysis, thermography and oil analysis.
  • Contribute to spare parts strategies and inventory optimization.
  • Interface with OEMs, equipment suppliers and specialized service providers.
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with applicable HSE, quality and regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in technical risk assessments, continuous improvement activities and, where required, HAZOP reviews.
  • Review plant design during the preparation phase to ensure adequate accessibility and maintainability of rotating equipment.
  • Review spare-parts lists, special tools and maintenance facilities to ensure operational readiness prior to plant start-up.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience within a petrochemical plant, refinery or power plant environment.
  • At least 3 years of experience in Maintenance Methods, Rotating Equipment Maintenance or Reliability Engineering.
  • Strong technical knowledge of pumps, compressors, turbines and auxiliary systems.
  • Proven experience with preventive maintenance, predictive maintenance and RCM.
  • Experience performing or supporting RCFA, troubleshooting, vibration analysis and/or lubricant oil analysis.
  • Familiarity with CMMS systems such as SAP PM or Maximo, including maintenance planning and spare-parts management.
  • Good knowledge of applicable industry standards, particularly API, ISO and ASME.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Ability to prepare technical documentation, maintenance procedures and structured work packs.
  • Strong awareness of HSE requirements related to rotating-equipment maintenance.
  • Professional fluency in French and English is required.
  • Turkish language skills would be considered an advantage.
