Job Description

  • Lead and supervise the site QC team during fabrication activities.
  • Provide QC expertise for materials, welding, NDT/NDE and coating.
  • Monitor structural fabrication and inspection activities at contractor yards.
  • Ensure compliance with approved ITPs, procedures, specifications and applicable codes.
  • Coordinate inspections, hold/witness points and NDE activities.
  • Review inspection results and support resolution of quality issues and NCRs.
  • Maintain and review fabrication quality records and dossiers.
  • Liaise with Contractor QC, Fabrication Manager and Project Quality Manager.
  • Conduct/support quality surveillance, inspections and audits.
  • Report fabrication quality performance and technical issues to the EPCI Fabrication Manager.

Qualifications

  • Ensure fabrication activities meet project and TotalEnergies quality requirements.
  • Ensure proper control and traceability of materials and welding activities.
  • Verify compliance with approved welding and NDE procedures.
  • Ensure all required inspections and tests are completed and documented.
  • Monitor and close quality deviations, NCRs and corrective actions.
  • Ensure quality documentation is complete and supports final acceptance of the structures.
  • Provide technical guidance to the QC team and contractor.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable API, DNV, ASME and AWS requirements.
  • Promote proactive identification and resolution of quality risks.
  • Ensure all activities are performed in accordance with HSE requirements.
