Job Description

  • Lead the development, review and approval of the 3D model and overall layout, ensuring compliance with project specifications, HSE requirements, standards and design objectives.
  • Coordinate 3D model activities with the EPC Contractor and all engineering disciplines, managing interfaces, clashes, technical queries and design changes.
  • Organize and lead 3D model, constructability, layout and HAZID reviews at key project milestones, including 30%, 60% and 90% model maturity.
  • Ensure layouts meet requirements for access, egress, handling, lifting, operability, maintainability, constructability and safe operation.
  • Monitor progress, identify technical, schedule, constructability and HSE risks, and drive corrective actions through to resolution.
  • Provide technical support to fabrication, construction, commissioning and site teams, and ensure the final 3D model is complete and suitable for handover to Operations.

Qualifications

  • 15+ years of professional experience in Oil & Gas projects, with at least 5 years in a similar or equivalent position with managerial responsibilities.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
  • Strong expertise in 3D model development, administration and reviews, detailed engineering and layout coordination.
  • Proven experience in managing Contractors, multidisciplinary interfaces and Management of Change.
  • Strong knowledge of Piping/Engineering, SIMOPS and Oil & Gas project standards.
  • Experience with digital projects and engineering data integration.
  • Strong analytical, coordination and communication skills with the ability to lead reviews and challenge technical solutions.
  • Fluent English is mandatory.
