This position is for Absheron project. 

Job Description

- Ensure the Engineering Dossier is delivered with a robust Instrumentation engineering definition and a fit-for-purpose design that can be procured, fabricated, transported, installed, commissioned, and operated safely, meeting the requirements of project standards and Basis of Design.

- Ensure, control, and coordinate the proper realization of the Instrumentation design in compliance with project specifications, procedures, schedule, quality, and safety requirements.

- Plan, prepare, and lead Instrumentation discipline kick-off meetings with EPSCC Contractor in close coordination with Discipline Lead.

- Identify, manage, and track Instrumentation engineering technical decisions; define clear action plans and secure timely agreement within the Engineering phase schedule.

- Monitor discipline progress closely, define corrective actions, and manage them to ensure timely completion of the design.

- Work closely with Discipline Lead to coordinate and manage Instrumentation engineering interfaces with other disciplines and stakeholders.

- Define, detail, and monitor Instrumentation interface parameters with other EPSCC disciplines.

- Perform thorough, efficient, and timely review of Instrumentation discipline documents, identifying potential derogations from standards and challenging the design to achieve optimized and fit-for-purpose solutions.

- Ensure all Instrumentation-related project documents are reviewed and commented on in a timely manner and in accordance with project specifications and contractual requirements.

Qualifications

Professional Experience (years): 15+ years in Oil and Gas projects

Experience in similar position (years): 10+ years at same or equivalent position 

Level / Diploma: Engineer, Master of science

Languages: English mandatory

Additional Information

Place of work (City & country ) : Chengdu, China then Baku, Azerbaijan 

Working Schedule : Resident 5 days per week 

Starting date : 01/01/2027

Duration of the mission : 12 Months
