Join IOTA’s teams for a long-term assignment with a major international energy player, supporting a strategic Exploration & Production offshore project based in Baku, Azerbaijan.
You will provide hands-on operational support to the HR & Administration team, contributing to the coordination of personnel, recruitment processes, mobilization and demobilization follow-up, HR documentation, workforce tracking and administrative activities. This role offers the opportunity to work in a structured, multicultural and international project environment, ensuring HR processes are delivered accurately, efficiently and in compliance with company policies and local labour regulations.
Job Description
Your main responsibilities will include:
- Coordinate and track in-country and out-of-country personnel
- Support mobilization and demobilization processes, ensuring complete and accurate documentation
- Coordinate recruitment activities, including sourcing support, interview scheduling, onboarding preparation and candidate pipeline tracking
- Liaise with hiring managers and recruitment agencies to follow up staffing actions
- Support the implementation and logistics of HR campaigns, including communication, tracking and follow-up
- Manage and update HR documentation, templates, tools and administrative records
- Maintain and update the HR database and administration orders, including leave, termination and appointment records
- Prepare manpower tracking files, workforce statistics, POB reports and HR data reports
- Support appraisal processes, including initiation, tracking and consolidation of inputs
- Organize business trips, including BTO, visas, logistics, approvals and documentation
- Follow up administrative activities such as missions, expense sheets and timesheets
- Maintain training records and support HR reporting activities
- Ensure HR administrative processes are implemented in line with company policies and Azerbaijan local labour regulations
- Provide operational HR support to Project Management, including data, documents and follow-ups
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or higher, ideally with training or certification in Human Resources
- Minimum 5 years of proven experience in HR management or HR coordination
- Previous experience in an international, multicultural or project-based environment
- Strong knowledge of HR administration, recruitment coordination, workforce tracking and reporting
- Ability to work independently, show initiative and follow objectives defined by management
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Excellent organization, accuracy and analytical skills
- Service-minded approach, strong sense of responsibility and good understanding of the HR environment
- Very good computer skills, including MS Office Package
- Experience with Electronic Data Management Systems is an advantage
- Ability to work effectively within a team and interact with multiple stakeholders
- Fluent English and Azerbaijani are mandatory
