Job Description

Proven experience in social development areas, including:

  • Stakeholder engagement
  • Resettlement Action Plans 
  • Environmental and Social Impact Assessments 
  • Environmental and Social Management Plans 
  • Labour Management Procedures 
  • Resettlement Policy Frameworks
  • Experience applied to electrical substation projects, power transmission lines, or other linear infrastructure projects.
  • Strong knowledge of social issues related to infrastructure projects.
  • Experience on World Bank–financed projects or those funded by other Development Finance Institutions (DFIs) would be a significant advantage

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Sociology or a related discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of professional experience in a field related to social sciences.
  • English fluent
