The position is part of a large-scale Oil & Gas development involving early infrastructure works, network pipeline activities, production facilities, field development interfaces, and strict HSE requirements.
The project environment includes:

Job Description
The Site Quantity Surveyor is responsible for managing quantity surveying, cost control, contractual measurement, valuation, and payment verification activities related to early infrastructure and network pipeline works.
Main responsibilities include:
- Manage quantity surveying activities for site infrastructure and pipeline-related works.
- Ensure accurate measurement and valuation of completed works.
- Provide cost management support, including estimation, budgeting, cost monitoring, and cost control.
- Conduct site inspections and audits to verify completed works against submitted quantities.
- Prepare and maintain records of measurements, valuations, variations, BOQs, cost reports, and payment records.
- Review, verify, and approve contractors’ interim and final payment applications.
- Monitor cost variances and recommend corrective actions.
- Support claims, variations, change orders, and contractual cost discussions.
- Prepare cost estimates and budgets for ongoing and future site activities.
- Provide regular cost reports, financial forecasts, and cost-control input to project management.
- Support lessons learned related to cost management, quantity surveying, and financial control.
- Promote HSE culture and ensure activities are performed in line with applicable HSE requirements.
Qualifications
Professional Experience
- Minimum 6 years of experience in quantity surveying roles, preferably within Oil & Gas projects.
- Minimum 3 years of experience managing quantity surveying activities on large-scale infrastructure, construction or pipeline projects.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of quantity surveying methods and cost management tools.
- Experience with measurement, valuation, BOQs, cost estimates and payment records.
- Good understanding of construction contracts, contractual terms and payment mechanisms.
- Ability to monitor costs, identify variances and propose corrective actions.
- Experience supporting claims, variations and change orders.
- Ability to prepare accurate cost reports and financial forecasts.
- Familiarity with site inspections, quantity verification and contractor payment review.
Education
- Degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, Construction Management or a related field.
Languages
- Fluent English.
- Arabic would be an advantage.
