For one of our French Oil and gas Operator client, we are urgently looking for a Electro-mechanical technician to be based in Lagos during 12 months minium Resident status. 

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Electro-mechanical technician to join our team in Port Harcourt, Nigeria. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of electro-mechanical systems and equipment in our industrial facility.

• Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical and mechanical systems
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial machinery and equipment
• Troubleshoot and diagnose complex electro-mechanical issues using various diagnostic tools and techniques
• Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and manuals to guide maintenance and repair activities
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations in all maintenance and repair operations
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to resolve complex technical issues
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment performance
• Assist in the development and implementation of preventive maintenance schedules
• Respond promptly to emergency repair calls and equipment breakdowns
• Stay updated on the latest technologies and best practices in electro-mechanical systems

• Associate's degree in Electro-Mechanical Technology or related field
• 2-3 years of experience in electro-mechanical maintenance or a related field
• Proficiency in electrical and mechanical systems, including hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Excellent troubleshooting, Programming and setting up PLCs 
• In-depth knowledge of industrial machinery and equipment
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance practices and procedures
• Proficiency in using various diagnostic tools and equipment
• Strong understanding of safety protocols and regulations in industrial settings
• Basic computer skills for data entry and report writing
