PAID RELOCATION

We are  seeking a System Engineer, with experience in a variety of operating systems and platforms to support team operations in Fort Gordon, GA. We are willing to relocate you to the area! Salary range is up to 155K. Final offer is based on overall skill & attribute evaluation and is commensurate with experience. A TS/SCI is required to be considered.  

What You'll Be Doing:

• Providing enterprise virtualized environment support by performing high-end engineering; supporting Windows and Linux Server-based services; and performing maintenance of systems onsite with our customers
• Working directly with customers and system users onsite and supporting day-to-day customer operations
• Actively communicating with key program stakeholders regarding status of activities and potential recommendations for improvement regarding the customer's systems and network
• Problem solving and troubleshooting issues within the deployed systems      
• Recommending enhancements and modifications to existing systems as well as any new system modifications       
• Serving as key point of contact with customers and end users regarding system bugs, change requests and daily operations
• Supporting system administration activities to include patch management      
• Working with other team members remotely to proactively diagnose and resolve complex problems

Education:
- Bachelors Degree; 4 years of relevant experience may be substituted for a degree

Required Qualifications:
- 6 years of relevant experience
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server operating systems in addition to virtualization technologies such as VMware
- Hands-on experience with Power CLI/Powershell/Linux scripting methods
- Hands-on experience with Linux-based operating systems to include RHEL and/or Oracle Linux
- Hands-on system engineering experience in the full lifecycle (design, build, deployment, and O&M)
- Build and configuration management experience to include Patch Management experience
- Must possess system troubleshooting capability
- Creative problem solving
- Ability to remain on task - self-motivated and a strong communicator

Security Clearance:
- Top Secret SCI

Preferred Experience:
- Familiarity with standard TCP/IP concepts, including design and troubleshooting;
- Familiarity with networking concepts; Cisco ASA Family, Cisco ISR Routing Platforms and Catalyst Switching platforms
