Systems Engineers-- We’re building a dynamic engineering team with a real-world cyber mission focus. Seeking seasoned professionals who are highly motivated to put their knowledge into play developing, deploying and maintaining advanced, complex operational networks. These are full time positions in Quantico, VA location, with hybrid work potential, and available upon award in April 2023. Clearance requirement: Active TS (w/SSBI) / SCI eligible minimum.

Duties involved:

• Planning, directing, and, if necessary, conducting regular, special, and integrated system test programs on virtualization equipment
• Preparing and conducting special reports and presentations that contain actionable information, which is pertinent to individual site operations
• Conducting integrated equipment system tests
• Planning, preparing and conducting on the job training as needed
• Coordinating with other field engineers and supporting the unit with other relatable duties as needed.
• Prototyping new solutions that incorporate new technologies

Clearance Requirement: Active TS (w/SSBI)/ SCI eligible

Education: Four (4) year college degree in computer engineering, plus five (5) years' experience designing and implementing IT systems in a production environment. Or in lieu of education ten (10) plus years of experience designing and implementing IT systems in a production environment.

Skills / Capabilities:

Experience to include

• Developing tools based on raw engineering work products and parsing of database structured data
• Leading system/server development projects involving multiple developers, as well as experience in generating requirements documentation
• Develop processes to validate performance metrics of systems. Use available COTS/GOTS software as applicable
• Systems/Equipment Installation and Implementation to include installation, configuration, implementation, and validation of installation of components
• Author and utilize scripting languages, mainly but not limited to PowerShell, to automate tedious, repetitive, and/or error prone tasks related to installation, configuration, and management of IT systems and services
• Designing of systems via hypervisors and virtualization sub-systems
• Support a variety of networking, storage, virtualization, and other components that may span across multi-generational deployments
• Evaluate effectiveness of existing technologies on site, and considering emerging technologies #CJ
• Proven ability to prototype new solutions to address IT challenges and focused on optimizing existing systems in light of new technologies that come to market.
• Develop cloud (examples: Azure, AWS) infrastructure systems
• Develop on premise cloud (examples: Azure, AWS, OpenStack) infrastructure systems
• Add, configure, and manage Roles and Features on Microsoft Server (current Version)
• Configure and monitor systems/servers utilizing Failover Cluster Manager tools
• Configure and monitor systems/servers utilizing Remote Server Administrative Tools (RSAT), Windows Admin Center and Azure Arc
