    Job Description

    IOMAXIS is seeking an HR Business Partner/Assistant. The ideal candidate will serve as a contact between the HR department and the rest of the organization. Duties will include scheduling onboarding tasks, and maintaining employee records. The HR Assistant will also perform administrative tasks and services to support the efficiency of the Human Resources Department.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    • Maintains accurate and up-to date human resource files, records, and documentation and maintains the integrity and confidentiality of HR records and files.
    • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc. Refers more complex questions to senior-level HR staff.
    • Collects and processes all new hire paperwork. Performs bi-weekly audits of HR files and records to ensure that all required documents are collected and files appropriately.
    • Provides administrative support to the HR Department
    • Oversees new hire orientation. Ensures agenda is up-to date and collaborates with managers if changes are needed. Ensures new hires are set up in HR systems.
    • Completes employment verifications as received
    • Processes terminations in HRIS system and ensures accuracy of HRIS system on a semi- monthly basis
    • Sends weekly upcoming hire report.

    Qualifications

    • Successful candidate must have an associate degree in HR or a related field (bachelor’s degree preferred)
    • Candidate must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in an administrative role
    • Candidate must have strong communication skills
    • Candidate must be able to quickly resolve people’s problems
    • Candidate must be familiar with database systems and common HR applications. Experience with Paycom strongly desired.
    • General knowledge of Human Resources practices
    • Knowledge of HIPPA guidelines and privacy rules
    • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
