Job Description

Salary: $120,000+ What We Are Looking ForIOMAXIS is seeking a mid level Software Automation Engineer to work with a distributed team of developers and engineers to support development and operations. This position is available to candidates within a 2 hour commute of one of these Northern Virginia locations: Arlington-VA, Springfield-VA, Lorton-VA, Fredericksburg-VA. This is a full-time, hybrid role with some remote capability. 

 What You'll Be Doing
- Operating as an individual contributor for software automation projects
- Directly interfacing with customer working groups on development and integration issues
- Developing and preparing application documentation, gathering specific information related to the project and applicable technical material
- Creating and managing virtualized infrastructures via APIs
- Working as part of an agile team to develop build automation products

Qualifications

Education
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university. (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or similar)

Clearance
- Must be clearance eligible to Secret
- Current clearance is a plus

Skills / Capabilities
- Three (3) years' experience with JVM languages: Java and Groovy
- Direct experience with other languages such as C/C++, python, and rust
- Three (3) - Five (5) years' experience in software systems, programming, database development, and infrastructure development and administration 
- More than one (1) year of experience working with gradle tasks 
- More than one (1) year of experience working with Jenkins or similar CI/CD tooling 
- Experience working with Version Control Systems like git 
- Ability to work and troubleshoot issues independently 
- Strong problem solving and analytic skill ability and desire to work in a team environment #CJ
