The position of Junior UI Designer is responsible for working with the Ingrooves Design and Product Teams to take projects from concept to final production under tight deadlines and adhering to best practices for user-centered designs. The candidate will be responsible for designing and maintaining Ingrooves creative including digital products, branding, website design, internal business creative and external marketing needs. The position of Junior UI Designer will be reporting to the Senior UX/UI Lead and is based in Los Angeles.
Contribute to design projects from conception to delivery
Problem solve and troubleshoot the tough issues
Understand the needs of our users and design creative solutions
Create beautiful designs that don’t sacrifice on function
Work in a highly collaborative environment
Maintain brand consistency throughout Ingrooves products, marketing and business creative
Stay up to date with latest trends to remain informed of emerging industry trends and best practices
Have strong communication skills to collaborate with team members

Knowledge of basic design principles to maintain best practices and optimization
Proficiency in the following design and wireframe tools: Sketch, Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator)
Strong understanding of HTML/CSS —you won’t code, but will need to have a strong understanding in order to communicate with developers and understand what is and isn’t easily achievable
Knowledge of prototyping tools (InVision App and Figma a plus)
Comfortable with PowerPoint
2+ years graphic and digital design experience
Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or related field
Online portfolio with a variety of digital, social media and print collateral with a variety of styles represented
Able to multi-task and prioritize
Open to criticism and welcome feedback
Have a positive, helpful attitude and an eagerness to learn and grow
