Job Description

The Role

The position of International Physical Operations Manager is responsible for all aspects of production for albums released outside of North America. You will oversee all operational aspects of the physical business including accounting, contracts and logistics. You will co-ordinate marketing strategies and promotional opportunities for each release with international physical distribution partners. You should also be the in-house physical distribution expert and help assist the label management team with any enquiries from clients.

will be reporting to the Director, Sales Strategy and is based in London

Qualifications

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily monitoring of progress of all new releases

  • Arrange manufacturing where required

  • Track assets to ensure products get to market on time, handling rushes and improving delivery times where possible

  • Monitor back orders and key product inventory levels daily and place new orders for finished product and components

  • Review and act on excess inventory

  • Create and edit basic artwork in Photoshop and Illustrator

  • Handle label transitions

  • Have knowledge of sound editing programs to create DDP masters.

  • Oversee the physical accounts and statements.

  • Be the point person for any direct to consumer requirements


Skills and Experience:

  • Familiarity with the manufacturing process, introducing existing relationships with alternative manufacturers as required

  • 1 year’s relevant experience

  • Strong command of English language (proficiency with second languages an advantage)

  • Organizational skills

  • Very familiar with Microsoft Windows and capable of learning new software quickly

  • Must have a keen eye for detail
