Job Description
We are seeking a production scheduler to work in one of our locations. As a production scheduler you will be responsible to plan and prepare production schedules for manufacture of industrial or commercial products. You will be responsible for the following activities:
- Establishing sequence and lead-time of each operation to meet shipping dates according to sales forecasts or customer orders
- Monitoring stocking levels to ensure all materials ship or consumed before expiration of shelf life
- Analyzing production specifications and plant capacity data and performs mathematical calculations to determine manufacturing processes, tools, and human resource requirements
- Planing and scheduling workflow for each department and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
- Expediting operations that delay schedules and alters schedules to meet unforeseen conditions
- Preparing production reports
- Preparing lists of required materials
- Preparing purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment
- Performing weekly and monthly inventory of all supplies and prepares purchase requisitions
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
- Have a 4 years college degree
- Have 2 - 5 years of work related experience
- Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills
- Have attention to detail
- Demonstrate SAP S4/HANA Knowledge
- Show understanding Material Resource Planning
- Demonstrate excellent written and verbal communication skills
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:
- Understanding of warehouse management
- Some production experience
- Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Experience within the Ink industry
