Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and efficient In-plant Tech to join our team in Arlington, United States. As an In-plant Tech, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our manufacturing operations, ensuring smooth production processes and equipment reliability.

  • Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on industrial equipment and machinery
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in manufacturing systems
  • Conduct repairs and replacements of faulty components to minimize downtime
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize equipment performance and efficiency
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and equipment history
  • Implement and adhere to safety protocols and procedures in the manufacturing environment
  • Assist in the installation and setup of new equipment as needed
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance plant operations
  • Monitor inventory of spare parts and consumables, recommending reorders when necessary
  • Stay updated on industry trends and new technologies in manufacturing equipment

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications (e.g., CMRT, CMRP) preferred
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a manufacturing or industrial setting
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
  • In-depth knowledge of industrial equipment and machinery
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and quality control procedures
  • Proficiency in preventive maintenance techniques and practices
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and report generation
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical thinking skills
  • Strong organizational abilities and time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
