Job Description

We are seeking for an experienced Account Representative to work at our corporate office in Schaumburg. The person in this role will manage and process orders received by email (mostly) and telephone from our external customers and INX employees. As an Account rep you will be responsible for:

  • Preparing orders for billing and related functions
  • Receiving, investigating and responding to customer concerns about product, service or billing
  • Performing consignment inventory and billing functions
  • Preparing reports for management and customers
  • Providing administrative support to mini plant accounts by entering data associated with inventory capture movement and relief, either stock or customer filled
  • Performing searches for internal and external procurement of materials, both raw and finished goods; maintain all related mini plant data in SAP

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent
  • Have a minimum of 5 years of customer service experience.
  • Demonstrate excellent customer service skills
  • Effectively communicate with peers and customers
  • Demonstrate good computer skills (intermediate) in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Have excellent verbal, written, reading comprehension, and demonstrate a professional phone manner
  • Show good math skills including fractions, decimals, percentages, and discounts
  • Be an excellent problems solver, involving several variables in standard situations
  • Work independently, as well as in a team in multi-tasks simultaneously.

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Associate degree from 2-year college or trade school
  • SAP experience and proficient with Microsoft Suite programs.
  • International export experience
