Job Description
We are seeking a Color Matcher to work with our great team! If you are looking to start a new career with a stable company that grows its leaders from within, then INX International is the right place for you. The person in this role will perform laboratory services such as testing, proofing, cataloging; will work on standard raw materials used by the company. The person will frequently use vision to identify/qualify colors and perform color comparison. As a color matcher, you will be responsible for:
- Color matching and performing customer proofing
- Performing associated clerical work (entering results & formulas into SAP, printing labels, filing, etc.)
- Performing 5-S cleaning and maintaining of area
- Sampling retain management
- Backing-up to Quality Control testing of production batches
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
- Have a High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Pass color vision test
- Have a minimum of 1 year related experience
- Demonstrate good math skills
- Show excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrate good knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs.
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:
- Prior ink/coating experience
- Knowledge of SAP
- Experience with X-Rite spectrophotometer and software
- Bachelor's degree
