Job Description

We are seeking a Ink Maker/Ink Tech to work with us. We have a very competitive starting pay plus a shift differential when applicable. If you are looking to start a new career with a stable company that grows its leaders from within, then INX International is the right place for you. The person in this role will tend mills in a safe and efficient manner to grind the raw materials for manufacturing of high-quality printing ink. As an Ink Maker/Ink Tech, you will be responsible for:

  • Following batch instructions to weight batches, charge and mix inks
  • Understanding proper mixing procedures and raw materials
  • Monitoring temperature and mix speeds and adjusting as needed
  • Following procedures for milling inks, adjusting pump speeds and mill rates
  • Following procedures to filter, package and label inks
  • Making QC adjustments as instructed
  • Weighting quantities of raw materials for use in the manufacturing of high quality printing ink
  • Operating one or more mixers in a safe and efficient manner to mix raw materials for the manufacturing of high quality printing ink
  • Packaging the finished product
  • Operating a forklift

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Have previous manufacturing experience of at least 6 months
  • Have forklift experience
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs
  • Have basic math, communications and mechanical skills
  • Be capable of managing multiple tasks
  • Demonstrate good knowledge of Microsoft Suite (MS Office) programs

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider it a plus if you have:

  • Understanding of 5S workplace
  • Knowledge of TPM
  • Ability to work 10-hour shifts
  • Ability to work overtime and on weekends
