Job Description

We are seeking a Materials Manager to work at our plant facility in Edwardsville, KS. As a Material Manager you will be responsible to:

  • Manages Raw Material and Finished Goods Inventory
  • Oversee the Shipping and Receiving Department
  • Purchase required items for the branch and inplants
  • Monitor Purchasing and Vendor Consignments
  • Manage Cycle Counts and Physical Inventory to include aging, slow moving, workoff and scrap
  • Work closely with Production Manager on scheduling requirements
  • Support TPM efforts in the plant

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • College Degree in business related field
  • SAP experience
  • 3-5 years experience in Supply Chain, Purchasing, Planning, MRP

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Familiar with GHS and transportation requirements for dangerous goods
  • Continuous Improvement, Lean, 5S experience
  • APICS Certification • Advanced Excel
