Job Description
INX International is now hiring chemists for several positions from entry level to manager level! We are experiencing tremendous growth in the area of flexible packaging in our solvent ink division, so we invite you to be a part of this exciting and growing team! As an R&D Chemist you will be required to:
- Troubleshoot issues with existing technologies as well as customer challenges
- Develop new solvent-based technologies based on customer needs
- Evaluate raw materials and optimize formulations for cost-savings opportunities
- Provide technical support to manufacturing
- Publish project reports & other documents direct to sales & customers
- Maintain laboratory equipment
Qualifications
To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:
- Have a bachelors degree in Chemistry or equivalent
- Demonstrate strong Math and Science skills
- Be Proficient with record-keeping
- Have good and effective written, reading comprehension and verbal skills
- Be able to interpret data and draw effective conclusions
In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:
- Knowledge of Flexo & Gravure printing processes
- 5 years of related experience
- Ink and coating formulation experience
- SAP experience
- Knowledge & experience with GC, GC/MS, FTIR, Karl Fischer, etc.
