Job Description

We are seeking a Materials Manager to work at one of our facilities. The position will serve as the inventory controller and will handle other duties as assigned. As a Material Manager you will be responsible to:

  • Manage all aspects of the materials department including inventory control, procurement to ensure proper forecasting, and timely shipments of customer orders
  • Manage inventory control programs across all material types to ensure accurate inventory and drive inventory reductions
  • Manage plant inventory investments including workoff/obsolete inventory, improving inventory turns, and management of stock levels
  • Facilitate and execute continuous improvement activities

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • 5 years of experience in Material Management
  • APICS certification or the ability to pursue APICS certification
  • Strong MS Excel working knowledge
  • Familiar with GHS and transportation requirements for Hazardous goods
  • High School graduate or GED equivalent

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Prior ink/coating experience
  • College degree
  • Previous experience within the Ink Industry
