Job Description

We are seeking Mill Operators to manufacture high-quality printing ink. INX's Charlotte location makes the ink on 95% of all beer and beverage cans manufactured in the United States.We will train right candidate to operate a Mill Machine and on TPM activities. As a Mill/Mixer Operator you will be responsible to:

  • Run batches of ink at proper mill settings.
  • Package finished product in various containers and apply labels
  • Properly maintain Mill and Mixer machines to TPM Standards
  • Mix Batch: Discharge pigment and operate mixer safely; follow and adhere to all INX Mixer SOP's
  • To act as a QC liaison, providing ink samples, making ink adjustments, and recording data
  • Deliver batches to mill staging areas as directed

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have a high school diploma or (GED) desired;
  • Have 3 to 6 months of work related experience
  • Demonstrate good math and basic computer skills,
  • Have attention to detail
  • Have good attendance and punctuality
  • Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. as required  

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • Forklift experience, but we can train you
  • Previous experience within the Ink Industry is appreciated
