Job Description

We are seeking a Production Manager to work at one of our facilities. INX's location makes the ink on 95% of all beer and beverage cans manufactured in the United States. As an Production Manager you will be responsible to:

  • Plan, organize, direct and run optimum day-to-day operations by reviewing production orders and scheduling system to coordinate department operations, establish priorities and sequences to achieve operational excellence
  • Commitment/Involvement in the (TPM) Total Productive Maintenance System and Processes as a TPM Pillar Coordinator
  • Collect and analyze data to find places of waste or overtime
  • Address employees’ issues or grievances
  • Supervise Production dept. employees and coordinates employee schedules
  • Direct the development of new and improved methods, tools, equipment and procedures
  • Assess customer quality complaints and quality reports as it pertains to production
  • Work with department supervisors to develop solutions for problems & improve Production efficiencies

Qualifications

To perform your job as expected, you will be required to:

  • Have 2 to 5 years of management or supervisory experience in manufacturing
  • Have an associate or bachelor degree from a college
  • Have manufacturing, warehouse and supervisory/managerial experience
  • Demonstrate mechanical skills and knowledge of Production processes
  • Have excellent math skills, as well as oral, written, reading and comprehension skills in order to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
  • Demonstrate proficient with Microsoft Suite programs (MS Office) and other computer skills

In addition to these qualifications, we will consider as a plus if you have:

  • SAP Knowledge
  • Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
  • Have worked in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Previous experience within the Ink Industry
