Job Description

  • As a Webservices developer you will be responsible for planning, designing, developing, testing, implementing and troubleshooting webservices, under minimal direction, in a Windows and Linux (RHEL) environment primarily leveraging CA DevTest (LISA) virtualization.
  • The developer will also be responsible for developing Subject Matter Expertise on the Applications Under Test and supporting testing data, helping to define/refine the data driven automation framework for core Contact Center application platforms and integrations, developing virtualized webservices that automate what would assist with both manual and automation test execution.
  • The primary application area supported is the Enterprise Contact Technology portfolio, consisting of Customer Relationship Management (Sales/Service) desktop, Interactive Voice Response, and Computer Telephony Integration platforms.
  • This role will be crucial for supporting our Agile / Speed to Market initiatives.
  • The developer will be working closely with the functional QA testers, developers and automation engineers, and will report under the Test Automation Team Lead 

Qualifications

***MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:*** 

 5+ years application development and implementation experience 

Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills* 

4+ years of hands on development on WebServices (REST and/or SOAP based) and WebService Security Development of APIs and reusable components specifically 

3+ years of hands on development experience with CA DevTest / LISA 

3+ years of experience with database and test and data driven development (SQL/Oracle)

 2+ years of experience with Oracle, DB2, and/or SQL Server databases 

2+ years of working experience with Middleware servers like Weblogic, Websphere, Apache Tomcat, and Jboss. - Experience developing with testing Contact Center Technologies (IVR, Computer Telephony Integration platforms (e.g., Genesys, Cisco), NICE Call Recording, etc.) 

2+ years of experience using Client ALM/Quality Center for requirements / test case / defect tracking; including experience integrating automation with Client ALM/Quality Center. 

Strong understanding of server Operating Systems (UNIX/Linux, Windows) and experience creating, editing, executing OS-level programs/scripts. 

Ability to handle projects independently and successfully in challenging and cross platform environment. 

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important 

***PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:*** 

BS degree in Computer Science or higher 

Exposure to internet technologies such as HTML 5, JSP and understanding of internet architectural components is a plus. 

Experience working with an onshore/offshore team model
